Well I'm almost finished in Poser I thought I'd show what I've got so far I haven't fully finished it and isn't all aligned up correctly but just encase I don't get it right this is as close as I got.

Cya till I've got something to blog about

As the title suggests I still have nothing really to blog about so I probably wont blog for a few days.

Still got nothing!

Well I haven't done any work on my poser guy I've been playing some old games still and Crysis Warhead so yeah

*Sigh* I've got nothing

Well I've got nothing to really talk about I've been downloading some old games such as Jazz Jackrabbit 1 & 2, Turok 1 & 2 (Turok 1 I couldn't get to work something to do with the graphics) The Lion King and also some SNES games Super Putty and Putty Squad which I use to have the demo of putty squad on PC but apparently it doesn't exist for it yet i had the demo on a disc many years ago was my very first CD-Rom ever.

Yet I lent the disc awhile back and never saw it again but it had some demos,shareware or full games I think had like Duke Nukem and all that I wish I could remember the name of it so maybe I could find out what other games it had i remember most but there would be alot I've long forgotten.

New jeans and new shoe!

Well I've been slowing down on making me in Poser as I know I will have heaps of trouble to get the side of my face to fit and such so I've been taking my time on editing things and doing stuff that I know I can do such as editing the jeans and shoes.

Update of me being in poser

Well I haven't done much but I've whacked some jeans on my model and I haven't yet started getting the side of my face on quite just yet I'll probably do it today or soon this is what my model looks like with jeans only taken 2 shots just to show off what my model looks like I might edit the jeans in some way but this is what my model looks like from what I did last night.

As you might see there's a slight weird coloured tint in my T-shirt? Well after I had taken these shots I fixed up that problem so now I think I'll really struggle to get the side of my face perfect I doubt I can even get it close to it working but all I can do is try I'm also thinking about how I'll edit the shoes because I don't really have sneakers like that but I cant really make any sneakers that I have so I'm worrying about it later.

Missed another day but I have an excuse

Well I went to a party that's an hour away from where I live so I didn't get home till the next day and then I went to bed after I got home seeing as I went to bed at around 4-5 am and woke up around 8 am. So the party was pretty fun I didn't get hammered but I did get a coal to my head which burnt my hair a tiny bit doesn't matter I have short hair (again) just so you know do not put a lava lamp into an open fire it goes BANG and can also cause some damage.

There was only one person who took the full blown force of it and that was the person who decided to hold this party in the first place he got a cut up near his eye and was bleeding from the arm and body including the top part of his eye other then that it was a good party playing Left 4 Dead and Rainbow 6: Vegas 2 on the Xbox 360 and I got to say Left 4 Dead online is awesome playing as the infected.

Well that's all for me at the moment I woke up around 2am today from going to bed around 6 pm so now I'm going to go play my PSP maybe or even the PS2.

Looking Good for Poser!

Well as I have said I was going to try recreate me in the Poser program and its looking pretty good so far I just haven't got the side view of my face right so my head is still about 49% finished as I need to fix my nose up a little bit on my face plus add the side and then it should look really good I'm pretty happy with the results at the moment as I said I was going to change a few things such as what he was going to be wearing that also has been going pretty well, I just need some longish shorts or pants to go on my model but at the moment I'm pretty happy with the result.


I've got this Spider-Man shirt (its pretty new haven't had it for that long) and just yesterday when I was looking at the clothes I could "dress myself in" on Poser and thought hey I should try recreate my Spider-Man T-shirt so I did a Google image search and was able to find it only thing is mines yellow and I also found out its Venom's spider logo.


This is Venom's spider logo also I couldn't find the exact same shirt I have (I'm currently wearing it right now) all I could find was shirts using this white logo and some of the shirts had the image on the front and back mines just on the front so yeah weird but ah well wasn't any trouble for me i just used this logo got rid of the black and gave the logo a yellow colour and yeah.

So I edit the logo in photoshop (that's how I make all my textures and stuff for Poser) so now Venom's logo is now yellow just like mine and then paste it on the T-shirt texture for the T-shirt I'm wearing in Poser and seeing the T-shirt is also black I also have to recolour the shirt so it looks more like what I'm trying to recreate so this is what you get after I have all that.


You cant really make out what part is what when its all black and doesn't have any clothing details on it but you get a bit of an idea of where the logo is, so here is what I'm looking like so far...

So that's all for today I still need pants or shorts I might even try make shoes I have and such same goes for maybe the shorts or jeans.

OH NO I MISSED A DAY! ah well another Poser post

Well there goes my idea of blogging each day oh well not like anyone really comes here to read them. Well anyways I might as well show the new robber mask texture and how I was going with my face being on another model in the program as I both haven't done any work on any of them for quite some time. And my excuse is..I don't have really have one just really couldn't be bothered I guess plus I've been sleeping rather odd going to bed at 5-6am in the morning not fun stuff, anyways onto the textures for my characters I'm making in Poser...

Still looks a little crappy but fixed up alot from the other one also I changed the colour to a more black and looks like this on the model..
Roughly the same camera angle as you can see or at least I think it looks alot better then the first designed texture both with the patten and colour.

I used the same picture on the head as i used with the first design just stretched it out differently I was trying to keep out both the eye and mouth holes so it was a smoother patten.

Anyways I never posted pictures of how I was first going with my face on the James model as I wasn't exactly getting good results I felt using Simon as my model here's what ive got so far just with the front shot placed on the model of the head.



As you might be able to see I still need to fix up the nose and of course add the side view in i also plan on changing the eye colour to mine or one at least close to it or even try use my real eyes as the texture but see how it all works out first.

I also plan on getting rid of what hes wearing at the moment as you can only see the jacket (is the same jacket im using for my robber model and that's how I got into making one using the James model) but he also wearing some of those suit pants but I'll probably leave the socks and sneakers (might even get rid of the socks if hes going to be wearing pants).

Also got a new PSP Game I had the Demo and it wasn't bad so I thought I'd give the full game a try (hope its the full thing). Well that's all for today (early morning in my case) its 4:15 am but this will say its like posted at 3 am or so whenever I started to write this.

Fight Night Round 3 for the PSP

Well last night I just downloaded this PSP game called Fight Night Round 3 as the title might suggest its a boxing game I had played a previous game out of the series Fight Night 2004 I think its called for the PS2 but I seemed really crap at it at the time I had tried it. Now I had read a review from gamespot said the game would be great if you could get use to the controls as they said it was a little hard or difficult to use the controls, I found this was a some what of a lie as I had read another review someone said they got the controls in 10-20 minutes I think i got hang of the controls within 5-15 minutes but there was one other review saying they hard trouble with the controls.

But I seemed to get use to them very quickly maybe its because I played the PS2 version yet I sucked and thought the controls were hard on that just depends who the player is I guess some people find it easier then others in most things in life. Anyways its a great game pretty good and decent graphics for the PSP certainly not as good as either the PS3 and Xbox 360 graphics but hey what do you expect the PSP came out before the PS3 and Xbox 360 plus its alot smaller and far less powerful then those two consoles. So you get to build your own boxer and train him up and of course compete against other boxers to win money and unlock new items such as trunks, shoes mouth guards stuff like that also it has both multilayer either over with another person on their PSP using Wi-Fi or you can have boxing matches with people over the other side of the world in the online mode.

I think the version I have must have some stuff missing such as the intro and that but I'm not too fussed about it i would love to play either the PS3 and Xbox 360 version I'm not sure about the Xbox 360 version but in the PS3 version It's set out in first person mode so it makes u feel the pain your giving and receiving and the graphics are so much realistic such as sweat drips off their forehead and such but yeah if you want to give this a go you'll need a CFW PSP here's the links

Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory - Shader Model Difference's

Well I had my graphics card overclocked (just because I could) but Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory seemed to have some problems with it overclocked so I put it back to normal as it would from time to time stop working and would make it harder to play as it would just lock up my PC and would always reset the resolution and put it on the low settings. And one time it took me a while to go oh this isn't right as I saw a guard on the ground and his face was very pixelated didn't look as good as it could so i went and checked the settings and found out yes they had been reset back to low (not that my PC cant handle it it just had crashed on those settings because the graphics card has been overclocked and it didn't know that so it rest to lowest settings if I was having problems with whatever settings I had it on.)

So Today I thought I'd have a look at just how much of a difference it makes and such seeing I could choose from this setting called Shader Model version 1.1,2 and 3 (which my graphics card has so I have it set on that.) So I set up "Sam Fisher" the character you play as and took a screenshot now I had a bit of trouble all I was getting was a black screen with the green goggles glowing in the pitch black screenshot I was getting I don't know why it happened but I solved the problem by using a program called FRAPS it records video footage off games or can even take screenshots as I used it for this reason.

So I select the screen size I use for all my games 1680x1050 and have the settings at max as far as I can go with shader model version 1.1 and then take a screenshot and get this...

So as you can see doesn't exactly look too crap or anything but at 1024x768 you do see the pixels and such and makes it look less attractive then at 1680x1050. Next shader model 2.0 with everything set at max only thing is antialiasing is disabled because it isn't available for shader model version 2.0 or 3.0 don't know why it just that way.

As you might see it seems alot brighter and you can see his face alot better then in previous shot so now all we have left is shader model 3.0.

All I can really see is its a tiny bit brighter in some parts of the objects in the background or showing more of a glow and such in parts where its not in shader model version 2.0.

Well that's it for today I'll have to think of something tomorrow as I haven't been home really i didn't get to do any work on my face texture using Poser and same goes with my Robber character.

Poser - Robber Character

Well as I said I was working on a Robber 3D Male Character and it was going alright. Last night I tried on another body as I was trying on the 3D Male Character "Simon" as he's called. So last night i tried "James" and the result is going alot better both in poses and clothes ive edited a few things such as to get the mask texture and make sure his fingernails are the same type of black (as he has black gloves) so they look a bit more like gloves and i also edited the colour of his jacket it was going to be black with a White collar but instead i made it a light Grey with a White collar.

He also wear's sneakers and baggy jeans I think there called i might try some different type of jeans that are available for James but yeah ill post a few pictures of the textures to get what i have at the moment.

I used and edited this to get the mask texture on the head/face texture for James as shown below.
As you can see its a little crap because i had cover the eye and mouth holes on the picture and then stretch it to cover the face and then i cut out the eye and mouth holes so it would look more of a ski mask, robber mask whatever you want to call it. Here's the jumper texture..
All i did was change the colour and stuff so this is what the "Robber" looks like... (un-rendered)



Enjoy don't know when ill do more work on the Robber but yeah

Warlords Battlecry

Warlords battlecry is a pretty old game as it says on the cover for Windows 95 and 98 it came out in Jul 09, 2000 (in the US) and apparently was also released in 1999. It's a bit like age of empires and such that same type of gameplay only you have a Hero who can build, learn spells and get exp points and there's different types of races to choose from such as a Human, Undead, Dark Elf and heaps more (including female characters) and they could also choose different job skills like a Human could either be a warrior, a wizard and a few others while some others say undead could only choose from two different jobs and all races had some advantage and disadvantage such as a human would be stronger in strength while the undead is like stronger in intelligent then a human.


There's alot of different fighting characters such as pikemen, Bow and arrow guys, Knights such things like that and there all different types depending what race your playing as say as with a human you can get these guys who can build buildings and watch towers to defend your land who seem a bit dopey and such as the hero (your hero that you make) can only build buildings and not watch towers i don't know why but that's just how it is. If your an undead your building guys are zombie who are just as mindless as the human version of the builders. Its a pretty good game i had the demo years back and always wanted the full game i finally found it even though it wasn't working at the start i got it to work. It Also comes with a Hero buildier (so you can have your own face or some other type of picture for your prortrait i havent tryied this myself yet though.)

Downloading and Installing Instructions (ive edited parts of this such as added the updates and No-Cd Crack)

1.After downloading the game you will either need 7zip, Winace or Winrar (Winzip is fine also) open up the zip file and extract the folder to where you want it installed.

2.Now go into the folder and there should be a file called mp3.exe and inject.exe click either one it doesn't matter its going to fail neways but don't worry its a fully 100% working game.

3. After its said it couldn't do something with some file it should of at least added it to the registry if not click on RegSetup.exe and now go to the updates folder install update 1.01 then update 1.04 (game wont update to 1.04 from version 1.00)

4. After the updates have been applied go into the Crack folder or No-Cd folder i forgot what ive called it and then apply the warlords battlecry.exe and say yes replace it then it should run if it goes to play this movie and crashes go into the movies folder and i think its the first video if you have RAD Video Tools (Google it its a free good program that can convert and do all sorts of things with BIK files) then watch the videos until you see i think its like money and cocaine being sniffed up just delete that and the game should run perfect.

Poser 7 - My result of me being in Poser

Well its not 100% finished still needs to be tweaked and such plus ill probably do it on a whole different body once ive got it right because when you use the two images it saves it as a picture file(you will see in the screenshots "texture preview" that's what im on about. So that means if i were to go onto another body it will let me import the same face picture when it saved it but as i said it still needs alot of tweaking here is what i did... 1. Got the images it asked for (I had them because i was trying to do something a bit similar about month ago)


2. Put in the front view first and played around with it until most of it was about right (I have trouble getting the nose 100% perfect) so i also edited the images as rotate them so they looked straighter in hopes of that might the image work better i also did this for the side view



3. So now i put in the side view this is where it gets really tricky and doesn't really work out too well but i try my best doing this for quite some time you tend to give it a rest after a while so that's why its not 100% perfect (I don't really know if ill be able to get it perfect maybe i will have to try get some different images or something)



4. This is what the un-rendered image looks like when I say apply to figure



5. So I make it rendered just to see what it would look like



6. I also gave him a facial expression and a pose


So there you have it I will either keep trying with the photos I have or try get new and better ones perhaps some other time.

Poser 7

Well ive been working and playing around with the Program "Poser" its a well known 3D Program that anyone can use ive been trying to put my face onto the head but i just cant quite seem to get the side view in the right place so that the face isn't deformed in anyway. i Also found out how to render the characters you make so now i can make some pretty decent looking ones anyways i will post some pictures of my result if i get close enough to one im happy with im also working on a Robber Character
